Artisan Candies
Artisan Candies was founded in 2005 by Kristen and Dean Scott. Their first product was a soft, buttery caramel, made from an original family recipe. They realized that there was a need for a good old-fashioned caramel, with all-natural ingredients and no preservatives, but they didn't anticipate the overwhelming response! In the Spring of 2007, Artisan Candies expanded their product line to include its premiere Artisan Caramels, Artisan Marshmallows in a variety of flavors, Maple Pecan Brittle (made with real maple syrup), S'mores on a Stick (using their handmade marshmallows),and their Rocky Road collection (available in four flavors).
Artisan Candies full line of mouthwatering, beautiful candies are handcrafted in small batches with the finest ingredients, and no preservatives. They are old-fashioned candies with a twist, with flavor profiles sophisticated enough to hold their own with more contemporary desserts. Artisan Candies add a special touch to gift baskets or dessert buffets. They're perfect as favors for weddings and celebrations and they're just right for that one-of-a-kind special gift.
Artisan Caramels were featured on the Rachael Ray Show as the Snack of the Day and S'mores on a Stick were the feature on ABC's View from the Bay. In addition they were listed in Martha Stewart's Weddings On-Line.
Kristen and Dean create their confections in their manufacturing kitchen in San Jose, California.
